It’s brilliant to hear you enjoyed the pre event information, atmosphere, facilities and the work of our marshals. Creating a welcoming base and a supportive community feel was one of our biggest goals for our first event, so it means a lot. We completely understand your comments regarding the course. A woodland trail route naturally comes with roots, bends and uneven ground, but we agree that we need to do everything possible to make it as safe as we can. The extremely dry conditions leading into the event also made some areas of the ground much harder and more uneven than normal. For 2027, we’ll be getting onto the course earlier, checking every section in more detail and working through any potential trip hazards or areas that could cause problems, especially with runners moving through in darkness. Thank you again for being part of our first ever MOAR Events race. We really appreciate you giving it a go and sharing your experience. Hopefully we’ll see you back on the start line for another adventure in the future!
